New Year’s Eve Parties in Los Angeles 2014-2015

Cleopatra’s New Year’s Eve Ball at the Egyptian Theatre in Hollywood. The classic theater’s courtyard will be tented and heated, and multiple indoor rooms will extend the Egyptian theme. DJs will be spinning Top 40 and hip-hop mash-ups to a giant LED light show. A balloon drop and confetti blast will mark the new year.
When: 9 pm to 2 am

Tickets: $75-125 General Admission, $115 (early bird) and up VIP, table and cabana packages available

N.Y.E. L.A. at Grand Park expands beyond the park this year to adjacent streets in downtown LA, tripling the size of the free event.  Guests will enjoy three stages with music in a range of styles, including Folk-Rock, Latin Alternative, Rock, Electronica, Soul and more, with some of LA’s top DJs and local bands and an even more spectacular, interactive and innovative L.A.-centric countdown to midnight than in the first year of the park’s New Year’s celebration. It takes place in the three block park in Downtown Los Angeles between City Hall and the Music Center along with adjacent city streets (from Temple Street to 2nd Street and from Grand Avenue to Main Street).

Metro: Red or Purple Lines to Civic Center/Grand Park station or the Gold Line to Little Tokyo/Arts District Station. Note:  The Temple Street exit will be closed prior to the event and will re-open at 11:45 p.m. to accommodate departures. The 1stStreet exit will be open during the event.  Metro service runs 24 hours on New Year’s Eve with free fares from 9 pm-2 am

The New Year’s Ball at The Edison in Downtown LA is a Cabaret Ball featuring performances by The Urban Renewal Project Big Band, DJ Jonny Abrahams, Aerialists Bowman & Womack, Stilters, and a host of gifted Eccentriques in LA’s favorite transformed power station. Ticket does not include drinks or food.
